The Chapter Advocacy/Legislation Training Seminar will be held from Monday, March 6 – Thursday, March 9, 2017. March 5 (registration) and March 10 are the scheduled travel days. Please block these dates in your calendar. The seminar will be held at the Westin Arlington Gateway, 801 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA. National PVA will pay the expenses for one (1) individual to attend from each Chapter. Chapters are welcome to send additional participants at their expense.


Reminder, Resolution 13-A-7, Legislative Representative per Chapter, was passed by the Board of Directors at the August 2013 Annual Convention. The Resolution reads: “Therefore be it resolved, National PVA through the National President may provide additional funding for Chapter advocates appropriate to the number of congressional representatives and senators in each chapter’s congressional appointments. The decision will be based on the number of congressional representatives and senators in the chapter’s coverage area and the need/effectiveness of additional chapter advocates. Each chapter will be represented by at least one advocate.”
